hill country romance

we spent our fourth of july weekend in the hills of fredericksburg — picking peaches, listening to rain fall on the tin roof and arranging flowers. we also saved a turtle, met a raccoon and went to a childhood favorite restaurant called mr. gatti’s. it was a magical little weekend and can’t wait to go back to fredericksburg.

ashton was also an art history major at baylor and we were thrilled when she asked for a hill country + dutch masters inspired flowers. we warmed up the palette of the dutch masters to embody the texas hill country at the beginning of july. the palette was rich and romantic.
